Forward Motion Productions is a small film and music studio. We work on a deliberately limited slate — a handful of features and original scores at a time — so each project gets the attention it’s owed.
Approach
We start with a question instead of a pitch. Every film begins as something we want to find out — about a place, a person, a moment — and the production exists to answer it. The score is written in parallel, not after, so picture and sound move together from the first edit.
Production is intentionally small. Tight crews, long preproduction, restrained marketing. We’d rather under-promise and let the work introduce itself.
